Wow that is ridiculous! And I thought $4.00 was unbearable. I am starting my first 365 Project, I guess that would be my "resolution."
I think that we should pay more for gas - closer to the real cost. If it is too much - we can not drive so much, or drive things that are much more efficient. The choices are ours - just my two pennies :)

Equivalent price here in the UK at the moment would be $8.18 a gallon. :)

Is it not the case that if your government levied a bit more tax on fuel, then it would go a long way to easing it's debt problems, and could prevent cuts elsewhere?
