Eastern Sierra Mono County Fall Colors 2018

Eastern Sierra photography with Jeff Sullivan

A spotlight of color falls on a grove of aspen near the town of Mammoth Lakes.

In 2018 the Eastern Sierra enjoyed one of its most gradual and orderly fall colors seasons in recent memory. Leaves turned color where they should, when they should, and without major cold and energetic storms moving through, the leaves stayed on the trees and colorful for a relatively long time.

Of course Mono Lake remained a priceless asset when we needed stunning sunrise and sunset photography!

I’ve posted draft 2019 Eastern Sierra workshop dates on my Eastern Sierra Photography Workshop page. Follow the contact instructions there to get on my list for notification when I release the workshops for registration soon!
