+Jack Durst The smoke was blowing northeast yesterday, between Gardnerville and Topaz Lake. The fire is close enough that it hadn't spread out much by the time it crosses Highway 395, but I saw photos from the Elko area, and it fans out to cover a pretty wide swath at that end of the state.
