Raw vs. JPG for Mobile Phone Photography

It's well established that RAW format gives you higher quality and more flexibility in DSLR photography, but is it useful for mobile phone cameras? I investigate that in a new blog post: http://activesole.blogspot.com/2015/06/lg-g4-raw-vs-jpg-mobile-phone-photography.html

  1. +Charles Gaines I read that Android 5.0 enabled RAW, the LG has 5.1, haven't heard of another specific model shooting RAW yet, in some cases no doubt due to manufacturer/carrier support/rollout of OS for certain phone models. I found out the hard way with my original Droid that OS advancement/support is worthless without carrier rollout.
