Owls at Mono Lake

A pair of great horned owls gather at Mono Lake in February, no doubt to discuss SuperbOwl Sunday.

You know what day it is in the United States?  Yes, it is Groundhog Day, when we pretend that rodents can predict weather.  But it's also the day when everyone gets together and eats cheese-like substances to watch TV. Apparently there are lots of shows about owls, so they call it the #SuperbOwl  event. I'm usually out skiing while the lift lines are short on this day, so I can't really tell you much more than that.

So show us your most superb owl photos, or find someone else's great owl photo to share, and tag it #SuperbOwl. Make sure that you get the capitalization right, so people won't confuse it for those super-sized bowls of strangely oozing cheese.
