After shooting things and people for several days, it was comforting to find a shot that felt more like a desert landscape. The Black Rock Desert has the ability to heal itself quickly of the footprints left the night before.
Unfortunately my tent was completely flattened by the wind on Friday afternoon, and upon returning late at night and finding the wind velocity still high, I didn’t have the energy to try to plant some stakes upwind and tie it down to see if it might stay up.
