Spring Photography Workshops in Death Valley National Park 2018

Milky Way Arch, Death Valley National Park, March 2018

Here are a few of the locations we visited during our workshop in March. The next Death Valley workshop is coming up fast: April 9 – 12, following an adventurous 3-night itinerary mostly on unpaved roads, leading us to shooting locations in the 2800 – 6500 foot elevation range.

Badwater Salt Flats, Death Valley National Park, March 2018
Mesquite Flat, Death Valley National Park, March 2018

Sand dunes in Death Valley National Park, March 2018.
Desert Gold, Death Valley National Park, March 2018

Given the rain in Death Valley in January and the follow-up showers in March, I’m expecting April into May to be the best timing for Death Valley wildflowers in 2018.
