Spring in Death Valley

Spring 2013 was very dry and you had to know where to look to find wildflowers, but I counted at least 16 varieties and we found a few good patches where more rain had fallen. A lot of Death Valley's roads are closed from rains which came in August, and I've already seen several varieties blooming in the 2013/14 season, so I think we'll be able to find some good sites again.
