Eastern Sierra Fall Colors Workshop This Weekend?

After seeing some Eastern Sierra aspen trees going straight towards brown in late September, I was reluctant to announce Fall colors workshops if our second year of drought might affect the quality of the display.  But in the weeks since the color in the remaining trees has come along nicely, without a major cold snap sending the leaves straight to brown or black.

So I'm heading out this weekend to enjoy the show.  I have a permit to run a workshop this weekend, so if you might like to join me, let me know and perhaps I can show you some of my favorite locations!  This album of photos form past years shows some of the sites we can visit.

We'll also have the opportunity to catch the full moon rising, and to capture some well-lit Fall landscape shots at night under the full moon.
