A cabin in the 1880s mining camp of Belfort, CA, located at over 10,000 feet of elevation in the Sweetwater Mountains. Good luck getting there on the steep, rocky, narrow ATV trails, and especially getting out!

I can still move in, right? Great photo dear +Jeff Sullivan .
It's typical California real estate +Kari Schloss-barker, a bit of a "fixer upper", priced like a palace. Think of the roof as "full of skylights" with "natural air conditioning".

aside from that gibberish...
Nice capture, +Jeff Sullivan ...love the forest scene and wood tone! (and I'm guessing it's a bit cooler there than down here in the BIG Valley, where 100+ day number 7 or 8 in a row is upon us, with higher humidity to boot. Sunrise was about 80 degrees and 57% muggy "humiditity" while we were enjoying the hot air balloon launch here in Tracy.
Best Wishes...
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!
Now that's what you call air conditioning +Jeff Sullivan
I´m always curious about these cabins. It may have been a rough life for the pioneers. Thanks, Jeff Sullivan !
