Test of Blogger post posted to G+

Now that G+ comments can migrate to Blogger, has integration of the two sites been fixed?  In particular, does the photo from the blog post come across at full size, or are Blogger posts still at a disadvantage to native G+ posts?

I even created the blogger post around a photo uploaded to G+, to ensure that it was easily available to G+.

I've been on +Blogger for years (www.MyPhotoGuides.com) , but I've bought a new domain name and hosted +WordPress there when integration with G+ seemed to be better: www.JeffSullivanPhotography.com/blog

For reference, here's how I do it over on +WordPress using a plug-in:

  • A native G+ post of the same photo follows this one.  The photo is large, hashtags are automatically created, and the G+ post automatically gets posted over to my new hosted WordPress blog (via a WordPress plug-in by +Daniel Treadwell).  The comments get updated too.  I moved to WordPress recently when after 2 years I still couldn't leverage my participation on G+ on Google's own Blogger. +Blogger

Is there some way to integrate Blogger with G+ better that I may have missed +G+ Help?

  • +Bruce Polderman The tiny photo rendered here on the G+ post linking to the +Blogger post is the issue.  I get 10X the response to a native G+ photo post.

Since I can migrate both the G+ post and all its comments over to +WordPress, being able to have a far better G+ post and have that content and comments mirror onto my blog currently seems to make WordPress a better solution than Blogger for G+ users:

Google should be able to implement a much better integration of G+ with blogging, and when combining G+ posts with the added context of the additional native blog posts being created on the blog, you can better target the content for the most appropriate Google Search users.

Integrating the two could also provide links back to G+ in the migrated posts, for blog readers who haven't integrated G+ into their daily routine yet.
