I was in death valley on March 12 and couldn't find the commet anywhere. Was it only during a certain time of day?
I'm glad to see that old mill from DV again +Jeff Sullivan! Beautifully done video! I love it!
Yes +Alik Griffin It was only visible for about 30 minutes during evening twilight, and only if you intentionally picked a high spot with a low horizon. I planned the shot using +Google Earth maps ahead of time.
All it's missing is you, +Brian Bach Sørensen, +Tim Gupta and friends +Mark Esguerra!
That #dv2011 photowalk +Thomas Hawk and +Lotus Carroll organized was awesome. It'd be fun to do more!
The timelapse of the comet is really cool Jeff!
