I'm going through old photos of Death Valley

It's amazing how many "new" images you can find… which you either didn't notice, didn't have time to process, or you didn't have the tools (at that time) to adjust the image adequately to make it worthwhile.

I can't wait to get there next week!

  • I've been working on a book +Peter Tellone, so I have to dig up old images, and often re-format or even re-edit them. They often turn out so much better with editing tools 4 or 5 years later that I'm able to go through the old folders and paste the new editing settings onto adjacent images, and end up with a lot more "keepers". It sounds like you're having similar success.

  • I've found the same thing... the new Whites control is much better than the old Recovery, and it all just seems to work out better.

We'll announce more workshops soon... Yosemite, Eastern Sierra, more Bodie dates, etc. We're trying to get a home page up for the site my new blog is on, and that's taking some time (along with just the sheer quantity of general logistics to pull workshops off).
