  1. You might consider that the J-26 first stage rockets are reconditioned NK-33 soviet built rockets. Do you think there might be a Quality control issue here perhaps even sabotage? Besides that most of the first stage components come from Ukraine check out Antares rocket on wikipedia .

  2. Yesterday the first launch went as planned …me and my family and others watched the rocket across our horizon for eastern nc…but yet I find they say they aborted due to a sailboat? OK the truth…that rocket suffered a malfunction and they were forced to crash it into the ocean….the one that exploded today was a backup..why? Because one…me and about 20 other people saw the first launch yesterday and two…if you people go on youtube…search the video from Mondays "failed" launch u will see that rocket had a black tip…the rocket that blew up 6 seconds after takeoff today had a white tip. What a total failure across the board. …

  3. Fortunately there was a "Plan B" for resupply of the ISS:
Russian Progress M-25M docks with the ISS

Interesting that the media is all over the explosion, but not the successful resupply mission which followed only hours later.

You can bet that someone will notice that a Ukranian part failed on the first launch, then a Russian launch succeeded a short while afterwards. Let the conspiracy theories begin.

  4. Oh and just to follow up on my previous post,, if u go onto youtube and look at Mondays "failed" launch…you will see that rocket had a black tip …the rocket that launched Tuesday was solid white… I've also read reports that other people claimed to have witnessed a rocket launch on Monday too… so something is off

  5. +Fatin Ibn Saad The thousands of people watching the live feed with audio from the control room did not see any evidence of that.
Launching rockets is a complex and dangerous undertaking, and many rockets have blown up during launch. Sometimes the simple explanation is the most likely. Stuff happens in complex systems, and launch failures probably happen slightly more often in a roughly 50 year old rocket reconditioned to new specifications.
