Happy Birthday to your Mom, Lori Hibbett

We're all here for such a short time.  In recent years I've been privileged to watch +Lori Hibbett help the local court look into suspected cases of elder abuse.  Several criminals have plenty of time to think about their crimes in jail as a result.

What do you want to do with the time you have left?

Life's Journey
As I read through everyone's warm, some humorous, thoughts on the time they spent with Lee Daniels and how she affected their lives I too am taking a moment where this hits home.  I've been fighting alongside my mom for three years in her fight against cancer.  Fortunately, my mom has insurance. Lee did not.  Otherwise she'd probably be here with us today.

The other scary item that has been in the news lately is how we are not beating the battle against cancer.  The cases are increasing and expected to grow significantly over the next generation.  Could that be because of all the chemicals we now consume so much of every day?  Folks, read the labels and buy organic.  If it doesn't sound like it should be in the food you're about to subject your body to sort out, put it down.  Don't support those companies that continue to poison us as they rake in millions of profits each quarter.  Okay.  Done with my soapbox.
Sidebar:  My mom eats a lot of the crap I wished she didn't.  And her cancer just isn't going away.
